Player Age Requirements
Magic: the Gathering has a standard age suitability recommendation of 13+
You are welcome to bring genuinely interested children or siblings of more or less any age, but their behaviour and safety must remain your own responsibility.
Clifton Road Games requires that players be old enough to leave the premises unaccompanied before they are permitted in-store unaccompanied. In the unlikely event that the senior staff member has to leave the premises unexpectedly - family emergencies are rare but not unknown - it should not be at the risk of having to leave unattended minors outside on the street.
A Quick Note about In-Store Play
ALL in-store gaming has a Casual atmosphere.
Some in-store gaming has a Competitive structure.
Everyone is present because of a shared passion. Everyone is welcome and required "to play nice" with the other gamers.
A tournament structure helps by determining match pairings based on results. The longer you play in an event, the more you will find yourself facing opponents at your own level of ability.
If you encounter a problem, talk to the organizer and they will fix it.
