Start at the beginning of A Song of Ice and Fire with Taking the Black, the first Chapter Pack in the Westeros cycle for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. As A Song of Ice and Fire begins, Westeros is at peace. But this deceptive calm will not long remain. Already, conflict between the Great Houses is on the horizon. You can take your place at the very beginning of the story with Taking the Black. In the Westeros cycle, the focus rests on the first book of A Song of Ice and Fire. Here, you’ll also find iconic characters like Renly Baratheon, the Hound, and Maester Luwin for the first time. You’ll also find four brand-new plot cards in this expansion, two neutral and two faction-specific. Begin your journey to the Iron Throne!
Delivery
At this time delivery is only available to UK destinations: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We DO NOT ship internationally.
Standard delivery is by:
- Royal Mail, 1st class (Signed For) - Est. 1-3 days - for parcels up to 2kg.
- Parcelforce 48 - Est. 2-3 days - for parcels over 2kg (or too large for the Post Office 'Small Parcel' size).
Note: Delivery is expected within 2 working days of collection, which is usually the day after booking.
P&P is not usually charged¹ for orders over £34.93 (eg. 7 items @ £4.99).
Below the free postage threshold, P&P is set at £5.99 (or £3.99 for items small enough to be sent at the current 'Large Letter' rate).
Parcels will usually be despatched on the next working day - Tuesday to Friday - after payment has been accepted and availability confirmed. Some items are subject to additional P&P charges.

- It is not usually possible for us to despatch items on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
- Due to post office and/or legal restrictions, some items (eg. Aerosol Paints, Craft Knives) are only available in-store. These items are listed online only to indicate their availability/price.

Returns
Unless agreed in writing by Clifton Road Games, all returns are at the customer's own risk and expense.
Please contact Clifton Road Games (by phone or email) prior to returning any items in order that neither party is put to unnecessary expense or inconvenience.
FINAL SALE items are not eligible for customer return. This category is generally reserved for products with unknown/random "collectible" content (eg. Trading Card Game Booster Packs), as well as some clearance items.
