MONASTERY
All is peace in the monastery. Shady cloisters surround warm gardens; great libraries and writing rooms resonate to the sound of quills on parchment; fields of standing corn stretch in all directions; well-fed cattle graze contentedly; the ever-presemt murmuring of monks fills the air. From the topmost bell of the Abbey to the bottom-most barrel in the brewhous, man's devotion to God is proclaimed for all the world to hear.
Yet all is not as it should be - for in this world within a world, earthly rivalries exist.
Monastery is a tile-building game with a twist: players compete to have their Monks work, pray and build, thus earning letters to complete the final words of the Lord's prayer: Libera nos quaesumus ab omnibus malis. Amen
For as St Paul says, '... when men run in the race, the race is for all, but the prize is for one.'

Delivery
At this time delivery is only available to UK destinations: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We DO NOT ship internationally.
Standard delivery is by:
- Royal Mail, 1st class (Signed For) - Est. 1-3 days - for parcels up to 2kg.
- Parcelforce 48 - Est. 2-3 days - for parcels over 2kg (or too large for the Post Office 'Small Parcel' size).
Note: Delivery is expected within 2 working days of collection, which is usually the day after booking.
P&P is not usually charged¹ for orders over £34.93 (eg. 7 items @ £4.99).
Below the free postage threshold, P&P is set at £5.99 (or £3.99 for items small enough to be sent at the current 'Large Letter' rate).
Parcels will usually be despatched on the next working day - Tuesday to Friday - after payment has been accepted and availability confirmed. Some items are subject to additional P&P charges.
Important Notes:
- Additional P&P charges may apply to unusually large, heavy or valuable items.
- It is not usually possible for us to despatch items on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
- Due to post office and/or legal restrictions, some items (eg. Aerosol Paints, Craft Knives) are only available in-store. These items are listed online only to indicate their availability/price.

Returns
Unless agreed in writing by Clifton Road Games, all returns are at the customer's own risk and expense.
Please contact Clifton Road Games (by phone or email) prior to returning any items in order that neither party is put to unnecessary expense or inconvenience.
FINAL SALE items are not eligible for customer return. This category is generally reserved for products with unknown/random "collectible" content (eg. Trading Card Game Booster Packs), as well as some clearance items.
